The WTA Trail Steward/Bike
Patrol program is open to all who want to
help make the trails at Wilderness Parks more enjoyable and safe for
all. It is really very easy to get involved and help out. When you
are out riding (or Hiking) the trails, make note of any trail
issues, help out any users that need it, remind users of the benefit
of Bike Helmets, and report your hours and activity to the
Yahoo group. These hours are tracked by the county and the WTA and
are the main source of our trail information. The Yahoo group also
sends out notices of trail issues such as trees being down, or
trails being closed due to flooding. Join the WTA Yahoo group
HERE.
